Born on Set: A 29-Year Fade In

For the past 29 years, my life has been fueled by cameras, cables, and captivating scenes. The script tying me to the film universe was written before I was born—growing up amidst the iconic Churubusco Studios, my childhood memories were shaped on the legendary sets of David Lynch’s Dune and Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo.

Because I grew up in this world, I chose to learn it from the ground up. I have walked the full road of physical production: starting as a Set P.A. and VTR attendee, climbing to Unit Manager and Unit Production Manager, and ultimately mastering the ranks as a Line Producer and Creative Producer. This 360-degree trajectory has made me a deeply seasoned producer who intimately understands every moving part, every budget line, and every crew member's reality on a set.

Over the years, this expertise has allowed me to lead production teams for top-tier global companies and collaborate with true industry titans. Within the realm of high-end commercial publicity, I’ve partnered with visionary directors including Ruben Fleischer, Johnny Green, Bryan Buckley, Juan CabralRobert Stromberg & Santiago Sierra SolerMartin Werner, and Keith Schofield.

My lens has been sharpened by framing worlds alongside legendary Directors of Photography, including Malik Sayeed, Nicolai Brüel, Alejandro Martinez, Galo Olivares, and Academy Award winner Linus Sandgren—as well as master world-builders like Oscar-winning Production Designer Eugenio Caballero.

My recent chapters have only raised the stakes. Lately, I've had the surreal experience of bringing dark fantasy to life with Tim Burton and Lady Gaga on Gaga’s Dead Dance music video. I also stepped into the sci-fi realm as a key production force behind The Portal of Force—a feature filmed amidst the rugged landscapes of Durango, Mexico, anchoring a powerhouse cast that included Kevin Spacey, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, and Tyrese Gibson.

From chasing cockroaches for a quick TV spot to trekking through dense rainforests with a full crew, my passion for the visual arts runs deep. But beyond the high-profile accolades and star-studded sets, my core mission remains unchanged: constantly elevating the quality of the work while fighting for better, safer conditions for the incredibly talented crews who bring these visions to life.
